U.S. Cellular, the nation’s #7 carrier, recently confirmed it will be introducing a second Android handset this summer, the Samsung Acclaim — previously known as the R880. The Acclaim is a mid-level handset that will find its niche underneath its flagship cousin, the HTC Desire. Details are scarce, but we we do know is the Acclaim will feature a full QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.1, and a 3.2 inch HVGA screen.
