Like many retailers, eBay is getting ready for the busy holiday shopping season with special, extended events. Rather than focusing just on Black Friday deals, eBay wants to offer customers a variety of sales through January 1st, 2016 as part of its “Wish Bigger” campaign.

The company plans to let customers decide on hot Black Friday deals with the help of a Wish Bigger Wishbone campaign. eBay will let you crowd source the deals you want most “while skipping the chaos – but not the savings – of Black Friday.”
A website that will go online on Thanksgiving Day (November 26th), ebay-wish-bigger.com, will offer shoppers the ability to vote to “break open and unlock a series of incredible deals.” Beginning at 4:00 p.m. EST until 10 p.m. EST, competing deals will be featured on each site of the wishbone. The one that gets the most votes over the course of an hour will be released to buyers in a limited quantities.
On top of that, eBay will have “deep discounts” on hot items on eBay.com/deals, launching every hour around the clock on Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday. The auction site even listed some of the discounts customers can expect during the period:
- Up to 30% off on top name-brand electronics such as Apple, Samsung and GoPro
- Up to 65% off on premium Fashion brands such as Tumi, Hunter Boots, Uggs, Vera Bradley and Ray Bans
- Up to 50% off name-brand items for the home such as Keurig and KitchenAid
- Up 50% off on Samsonite luggage
In addition to special Black Friday and Christmas deals on a variety of products, eBay will also make an exclusive Pamela Love for eBay collection of jewelry available to shoppers, as well as special Holiday Airstream and Boxing Weekend event.
