There’s just one more day to go until Apple finally announces the product many fans are eagerly anticipating: the iPhone 6s. Despite being an “S” generation, the new iPhone series is supposed to bring a number of significant improvements that might make the iPhone 6s the biggest “S” update yet, including a faster processor, more RAM, better cameras and Force Touch. However it has been rumored that the iPhone 6s won’t fix one major “issue” with the iPhone 6, and a newly leaked image may have confirmed that notion.

UPDATE: More retail packaging pictures have been posted on Twitter, showing a different Motion-like background.
New images showing purported retail packaging for the iPhone 6s indicate the phone’s cheapest memory tier will be 16GB, not 32GB as some buyers may have hoped. Apple was criticized last year for launching 16GB iPhone 6 models amid the issues users were having with storage space when trying to upgrade to iOS 8. However, the move helped Apple increase the average selling price of the iPhone by making the mid-range 64GB version of the iPhone 6 series appear like a great value.
Many of the most recent iPhone 6s rumors indicated that 16GB will continue to be the entry-level storage option for the new devices.
The images, received by Dutch site TechTastic, also suggest the iPhone 6s will be available in a rose gold option, just as some recent rumors said. Furthermore, the retail box features an iPhone on the top side, rather than just a silhouette, as is the case with the iPhone 6’s box. On the new box, the phone appears to show a Motion Wallpaprt similar to what’s found on the Apple Watch. A recent report also said Motion Wallpapers are coming to the new iPhone family.
TechTastic says it received the image above from an anonymous source, and that it can’t verify its authenticity. However, the image seems to match a similar leak from a few weeks ago.
A second image that clearly shows “16GB” as the version of the iPhone 6s the box is supposed to house follows below.
Additional images showing alleged iPhone 6s retail packaging have popped up on Twitter via @stagueve from a different source, further supporting the idea that the new iPhone 6s will indeed have Motion background paper – see them below.
