BlackBerry (BBRY) CEO Thorsten Heins doesn’t sound happy that his company’s shiny new BlackBerry Z10 smartphones won’t be available in the United States until mid-March. In an interview with the Associated Press, Heins said that he’s “a bit disappointed” that American carriers wouldn’t be releasing the world’s first BlackBerry 10 device for at least another month while adding that the company is “working with all our carrier partners to speed it up as much as we can.” Heins told the AP that American carriers have a more rigid testing process than carriers in other countries but said that “it is what it is” and “we need to respect that.” Recent rumors have indicated that T-Mobile plans to launch the Z10 in the U.S. on March 27th.
