Motorola and Verizon have offered QWERTY Android sliders since the release of the original DROID in 2009. According to an image found on the Android Central forums, the nation’s third-largest carrier Sprint may soon offer a QWERTY slider from Motorola as well, thanks to the launch of a smartphone that resembles the DROID 4. The handset looks to be equipped with a 4.3-inch display and will most likely support 4G LTE connectivity. Perhaps the most interesting feature is on the software side; the smartphone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and contains on-screen navigation buttons, similar to the rumored DROID RAZR HD. No other details were given, but the the device in question could come to market as the Photon Q.
