After months of leaks, rumors and speculation, Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will finally launch on Friday. Online sales kick off at 3:00 a.m. EDT / 12:00 a.m. PDT and stores will open at 8:00 a.m. local time to sell the new phones. We have seen mixed messages as far as how the new phones’ debut weekend might turn out. On one hand, several reports have suggested iPhone 5c preorders have been underwhelming, and there are barely any sellouts on Apple’s website. On the other hand, plugged-in Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo has been watching shipments out of China and he thinks Apple is set to sell a record number of phones this weekend. We know iPhone 5s inventory is going to be tight and, in all likelihood, lines are going to be long, but millions will still turn out around the world in an effort to scoop up Apple’s latest smartphones. We want to hear from you — do you plan to purchase an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c online or in a store between Friday and Sunday? Let us know in the poll embedded below.
