Android vs. iPhone… iPhone vs. Android… it’s all so tired at this point. We get it. You love your mobile platform of choice and anyone who doesn’t use it is crazy. It’s time to stop whining on forums and in the comments sections on tech news sites, and do something more productive with your time.

Of course, not everyone paints him or herself into a corner when it comes to mobile devices. Some of us, believe it or not, use both Android devices and iOS devices. Why not? Each platform has plenty of advantages over the other, and each one also has several shortcomings.

If you’re like us and you refuse to be tied down to one mobile platform, you’re about to meet your new favorite accessory.

DON’T MISS: Latest big iPhone 6s leak finally answers the question on everyone’s mind

We have covered several products from Just Mobile in the past here on BGR, and for good reason: The company makes solid accessories that are very well-designed, and several of us here at BGR use them personally.

The company recently released a new line of cables called AluCable Duo, and the name should definitely give you a hint as to what sets these cables apart. Unlike other charger cables, Just Mobile’s Duo line features a microUSB tip with an attached adapter that converts it to a Lightning connector.

How smart is that?

When I travel now, I no longer have to worry about grabbing a bunch of different chargers. With this cable, my iPhone, Galaxy S6 and iPad are all accounted for.

There’s also an AluCable Duo Mini and an AluCable Duo Twist, which is great to use as a car charger.

These cables aren’t cheap — the Mini costs $19.95, while the Twist and standard 5-foot AluCable Duo each cost $24.95 — but as they say, you get what you pay for. Of note, all three cables are available for preorder only, and shipments are expected to go out soon.
