OnePlus on Wednesday announced a brand-new product that appeared to be just another April Fools prank from a tech company. However, the OnePlus DR-1 is not just a good-looking joke of a drone, but a real product. The company started taking preorders on its website for the device and they quickly sold out.

Priced at $19.99 in the U.S., or €19.99 in Europe, the drone has four 30mm diameter blades, and measures just 70 x 28mm. The DR-1 weighs up to 15g and can fly for up to 8 minutes on a 20-minute charge.

Impressively, the company says the DR-1 is the smallest remote-controlled drone in the world. Flying the drone should be really easy, with help from the special remote. “Four flexible blades generate impressive lift and movement speed, and flights are made simple with ultra-bright orientation LEDs,” the company says. “Automatic 4-axis flips are initiated with a simple flick of the thumb, making aerial stunts impossibly easy.”

Unfortunately, if you haven’t purchased one already, you might not be able to order one again, as OnePlus says on the product’s page the drone is a one-time exclusive offer. Assuming you already got one, the DR-1 will ship to your home in anywhere from three to 15 business days.

A teaser video for the OnePlus DR-1 drone follows below, with more details about it available at the source link.
