If you don’t already know the Slow Mo Guys, it’s high time you met them. Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy are a two-man team that has become the king of slow motion videos on YouTube. Their super slow-mo footage gives us a great new perspective on all sorts of different stunts, and one of the team’s latest videos is particularly fascinating.
In a recent video posted to YouTube by The Slow Mo Guys, they take an up-close look at fire-breathing. Gruchy uses corn starch as fuel and blows it into an open flame, and the resulting slow motion video is mesmerizing. They used a Phantom Flex to film the fire-breathing at a ridiculous 1,600 frames per second, so the detail is absolutely incredible as a result.
