It’s been a wild ride these past eight years. BGR has grown from a tiny column on a gadget blog into one of the biggest and most influential technology news sites in the world. But as big as the site has become, we’re still a small, tight-knit team and we still appreciate all of our readers just as much as we did on day 1. So to thank you guys, we’re hosting a little party tonight in New York City.

In partnership with HTC, BGR is hosting an anniversary event at Avenue in Chelsea. It starts at 7:15 p.m., so be sure to show up early and have some food and drinks on us. As anyone who has been to a BGR event in the past will surely remember, we always have a great time and there might just be a celebrity or two stopping by.

And best of all, HTC will be on hand showing off its devices, and the company will even be giving a bunch of phones away.

We’re all ready to have an awesome time with you guys tonight, and make sure you get there early! If you haven’t yet added yourself and guests to the RSVP list and plan on joining us, be sure to fill out this form.
