The Apple-Samsung patent battle isn’t the only major patent fight that’s gripped the tech world. The Wall Street Journal reports that Samsung Display and LG Display have agreed to settle a dispute involving several of the companies’ LCD and OLED patents. This particular suit is important because the two companies make screens for some of the world’s most popular devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Apple iPad. It’s not yet known what the terms of the companies’ settlement are but it’s at least nice to see one less case of companies trying to get bans on each others’ products through the legal system.
