During its press event on September 5th, Nokia (NOK) will reportedly announce two new Windows Phone 8 devices, according to anonymous sources speaking with The Verge. The two smartphones will be part of Nokia’s Lumia portfolio and are currently code-named the “Arrow” and “Phi.” The Phi is considered a high-end device that will be an AT&T (T) exclusive, replacing the Lumia 800 and 900. The handset will reportedly feature a polycarbonate body and “a large curved glass display.” The Arrow is said to be a mid-range Windows Phone 8 device that will be available from AT&T and T-Mobile, while Verizon (VZ) will reportedly launch a near identical variant, code-named Atlas, later in the year.
