It makes sense, doesn’t it? Apple’s new iPods have been launched, version 2.1 of iPhone software has been issued and now version 10.5.5 of OS X is available as an update. Just about everything that has been rumored over the past month is now behind us. But where are those sexy new aluminum MacBooks we’ve been hearing so much about? According to Citigroup’s Richard Gardner, the highly anticipated next generation MacBooks are already on their way to the US from the manufacturer in China. Gardner also stated in a research note that we can expect “very thin aluminum casing, an LED-backlit display and an aggressive entry-level price point.” Sounds good to us. If this is true and new MacBooks are on their way over, expect leaked images of Apple’s updated entry-level laptop to begin surfacing soon – hopefully followed closely by an official launch.
