iPhone fans looking to score an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus in time for Christmas will be happy to hear that Apple has yet again improved shipping times for iPhone orders placed on Apple.com. After improving shipping estimates twice in the past month, lowering waiting times to just three to five business days for some iPhone 6 versions, Apple is now ready to ship customers most new iPhone 6 models in just one business day.
FROM EARLIER: You can finally get your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus from Apple within a week
Apple has not completely caught up with demand, as not all models can be shipped that fast, but customers will still be able to have a new iPhone 6 shipped to their homes in time for Christmas.
The most significant changes concern the 16GB and 64GB phablet models, both shipping in one business day, with 128GB iPhone 6 supply being the more constrained at the time (this iPhone version ships in up to seven business days). Here are the new wait times for all of Apple’s iPhone 6 versions available for purchase on Apple.com:
- 16GB iPhone 6: 1-3 business days
- 64GB iPhone 6: 1-3 business days
- 128GB iPhone 6: 5-7 business days
- 16GB iPhone 6 Plus: 1 business day
- 64GB iPhone 6 Plus : 1 business day
- 128GB iPhone 6 Plus: 3-5 business days
