Facebook phone once again rumored to be manufactured by HTC

Despite the fact that Mark Zuckerberg has repeatedly denied reports that Facebook (FB) will build its own smartphone, the social networking giant is once gain rumored to be building its own device. The latest report comes to us from Pocket-Lint, citing a “very reliable source” claiming that a Facebook phone is in development and will be manufactured by none other than HTC (2498). The device is said to carry the codename HTC Opera UL and according to a recent benchmark result it will reportedly feature a 720p HD display, Android 4.1 and be powered by an undisclosed dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. Pocket-Lint’s source also revealed that the device has been delayed, although it was never clear when the rumored smartphone was going to be released in the first place.
