Federal judge Richard Posner on Thursday cancelled Apple’s upcoming patent infringement trial against Motorola Mobility, Bloomberg reported. Apple had asserted that several of Motorola’s Android phones infringe on four of Apple’s patents, and Motorola accused Apple of infringing one of its mobile patents. Judge Posner on Wednesday tossed the other remaining patent Motorola was asserting against the iPhone-maker. The trial was originally scheduled to begin on June 11th, however Posner rejected damage arguments from both sides in a pre-trial hearing.
