Samsung’s ads for flagship devices have often turned viral, especially those commercials that made fun of Apple, the iPhone and its customers. But the company just proved it can be funny without taking any direct shots at its main competitor. Samsung released three new Galaxy S5 ads recently, with each 30-second video clip explaining one particular Galaxy S5 feature in a hilarious manner.

Part of the #ExpectMore campaign, the three commercials are called “Bathroom,” “Career,” and “Phone Flippers,” focusing on the Galaxy S5’s waterproof features, long-lasting battery and its Private Mode software feature, respectively.

Each ad tells the story of a disgruntled smartphone user who apparently expects more from their smartphones. The message Samsung wants to deliver is that its new handset is better than anything else, without actually taking aim at any of the competing new devices currently available in stores.

Samsung’s marketing department appears to be very busy promoting the company’s flagship device, as the company is trying to sell more Galaxy S5 units before competitors including the LG G3 and the iPhone 6 are launched. The company has recently taken over Terminal 5 in Heathrow with Galaxy S5 ads, and released other ads and promo materials explaining why the handset is cool, and why it’s plastic design should be appreciated rather than mocked.
