October is fast becoming Windows 8 Month and Samsung (005930)  this week added to the festivities by showing off its lineup of Windows 8 ultrabooks and tablet/PC hybrids. Per VentureBeat, Samsung’s ultrabook lineup consisted of the Series 9 Premium Ultrabook, which comes in 13-inch and 15-inch versions that respectively sell for $1,300 and $1,400; the Series 7 Notebook, a 15-inch ultrabook that sells for $1,100; the Series 5 Ultra Touch, a 13.3-inch touchscreen ultrabook that sells for $810 or $860, depending on the processor; and the Series 3 Notebook, a bargain bin ultrabook that sells anywhere from $450 to $900 depending on its configuration.

As for tablet/PC hybrid devices, which Samsung is calling “Smart PCs,” the company is offering the ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T, an enterprise-optimized tablet that sells for $1,200, and the cheaper ATIV Smart PC 500T, which sells for $750 with a keyboard and $650 without a keyboard. Samsung started showing off its ATIV lineup this past summer at the IFA trade show in Berlin.

And finally, Samsung will also offer two different Windows 8 desktops: The Series 7 All-in-One, which comes in 23.6-inch and 27-inch versions that respectively sell for $1100 and $1,700, and the Series 5 All-in-One, a 21.5-inch desktop that sells for $800.
