Taiwanese manufacturer Hon Hai reported revenue growth of 19.89% year-over-year in 2011 and 37.5% quarter-over-quarter in the fourth quarter last year, Taiwan Economic News said Friday. Hon Hai recorded $10.5 billion in revenue for the month of December, $92 billion in revenue for the year and $30.5 billion in revenue for the full fourth quarter of 2011. Hon Hai said the growth was propelled by a strong demand for new computers, phones and other consumer electronics. Analysts predict that the company, perhaps best known for its Foxconn subsidiary, which builds Apple’s tablets and smartphones, will achieve annual revenues of $100 billion in 2012.
