Beans to Google for thinking of using its own users for translation help. It saves them money, and gives beta folks a true feeling that they’re helping. The end result is a better translation by people who truly speak the language. The downside, of course, is that if you show a bunch of people your new goodies for translation, someone’s likely to speak up when something cool hits their desktop. While there are virtually zero details, a “newer version” of the Gmail user interface is being explored. Could it mean folders? Skins? Here’s a better question…what should it have?
