We’ve all heard stories about dolphins helping out humans in distress before but this is the first time we can recall seeing a dolphin rescue a distressed gadget. A video posted by WORLD NEWS HD shows a dolphin swimming to the surface of the water with an iPhone in its mouth that it then hands back to the woman who accidentally dropped into the ocean moments before.

“Teressa Cee was on her holidays in the Bahamas and went swimming with dolphins when her iPhone went bye-bye but she managed to get it back thanks to one very sound dolphin,” WORLD NEWS HD’s page explains.

As cool as this is, we don’t recommend tossing your iPhone into the ocean just to see whether a helpful dolphin will rescue it. The chances are pretty good that it will stay at the bottom of the ocean if you do.
