While you were busy on Sunday relaxing or spending time with your family, far more important things were going down on the West Coast. The biggest video game conference of the year kicked off with huge events from two of the biggest game studios in the world, and their press conferences were both action-packed. We saw previews of some of the biggest titles set to launch this year and beyond, and in this post we’ll recap all of the biggest announcements that you missed from over the weekend.

Before we get into all the news from the actual events, the biggest news from Sunday may very well have been the huge leak ahead of Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference, which is scheduled to take place on Monday. That’s right, the brand new Xbox One S leaked in all of its glory, taking almost all of the mystery out of Microsoft’s headlining announcement. You can check it out right here.
Shifting focus back to announcements that were actually planned, EA and Bethesda both hosted huge E3 press conferences on Sunday.
First up was EA, and the company had a ton of big news to share at the show. The star of the event had to be Titanfall 2, which is shaping up to be a worthy followup to the blockbuster original. EA released a new trailer for the game and confirmed that the new title will in fact include a single player campaign, which the original was sorely missing.
EA also showed off the hotly anticipated game Mass Effect: Andromeda, Battlefield 1 multiplayer, FIFA 17 story mode and it teased about 437 Star Wars games. Check out all of BA’s biggest announcements and plenty of new trailers in this post.
Later in the day, Bethesda took center stage and got gamers even more excited.
