After Apple’s Siri already confirmed that this year’s WWDC event will take place in mid-June, Apple officially announced the dates for its highly anticipated developers event, where it’ll show us the future of its operating systems, including iOS 10, OS X 10.12, watchOS, and tvOS.

DON’T MISS: The best Nexus phone of all time could be coming this year

WWDC 2016 kicks off June 13th with a keynote address during which the main features of iOS 10 and all the other operating systems will be revealed. Recent rumors suggested that OS X will receive a brand new marketing OS, in line with the others – rather than OS X 10.12, we’re probably going to see Apple announce a new MacOS 10.12 release this summer.

As always with Apple’s WWDC event, tickets are limited, so Apple will host a random selection process for developers – you can sign up for WWDC at this link, and Apple will notify everyone on the status of their application by Monday, April 25th. The company will provide 350 WWDC Scholarships to students and STEM organization members from around the world, as well as travel assistance for 125 of them.

WWDC 2016 activities include:
over 1,000 Apple engineers supporting more than 150 hands-on labs and events to provide developers with code-level assistance, insight into optimal development techniques and guidance on how they can make the most of iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS technologies in their apps;
access to the latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS, and best practices for enhancing an app’s functionality, performance, quality and design;
