This may have been a crazy week, filled with unexpected US presidential election results and lots of Black Friday leaks. But if there’s one thing that hasn’t changed compared to other weeks is that we have plenty of brand new movie trailers to check out, including fresh clips for Rogue One, and a first video for what will probably be an epic sci-fi masterpiece.

DON’T MISS: Best Buy has a great Black Friday Galaxy S7 deal you can use right now

Collateral Beauty

This isn’t your action-packed Will Smith movie. Collateral Beauty is a drama about a guy who lost his child, and he’s now trying to fix himself by writing letters to… concepts including Love, Time, or Death. The movie comes out on December 16th.

Ghost in the Shell

With all the action this week, we almost missed this new Ghost in the Shell teaser. It’s a 13-second clip meant to make us want more. Mission accomplished! The movie launches on March 31st.

Pet

Pet

is a very, very, freaky thriller. We’ve got a terribly deranged guy who kidnaps and locks a woman in a cage. Pet hits cinemas on December 2nd.

Renegades

Renegades

is like George Clooney’s Three Kings. Only it’s happening in Europe, where a team of five Navy Seals decides to hunt for Nazi gold buried at the bottom of a lake in Sarajevo. And it all happens in the mid-90s, in a war-torn country. Yes, we want to see this one when it comes out on February 3rd.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The latest trailer for Rogue One brings more footage from the highly anticipated Star Wars film. We’ve got crystals, Rebels, Darth Vader, and a Death Star that shoots. Check it out:

Solace

Rogue One

might be the movie to see on December 16th, but Solace is going to be one other interesting proposition. It’s a crime story featuring Anthony Hopkins, Jefferey Dean Morgan, and Colin Farrell. The latter is the bad guy, a criminal, who’s being chased by the FBI.

The Lego Batman Movie

Will Arnett. The Lego Batman Movie. Need I say more. Ok, fine! Rosario Dawson. Ralph Fiennes. Zach Galifianakis. Michael Cera. Mariah Carey. February 19th.

Underworld: Blood Wars

Vampires, werewolves, and Kate Beckinsale. That’s what the Underworld saga brought us, and the latest episode of the movie series launches on January 6th.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

Ok, so Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is a really annoying movie title. I’m already having troubles remembering all of it. But Valerian happens to be Luc Besson’s brand new film, set for a July 21st launch date. It’s about time traveling and space, lots and lots of space. The cast includes Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman, Clive Owen, Rihanna, Rutger Hauer, and lots of others.

Chris Smith Senior Writer

Chris Smith has been covering consumer electronics ever since the iPhone revolutionized the industry in 2008. When he’s not writing about the most recent tech news for BGR, he brings his entertainment expertise to Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and other blockbuster franchises.

Outside of work, you’ll catch him streaming almost every new movie and TV show release as soon as it's available.
