In its latest attempt to make a dent in the crowded Android market, Sony is said to be preparing to launch a flagship smartphone with a 20-megapixel rear camera. The most recent rumors suggest the device, which is code-named Honami, will be equipped with a 5-inch full HD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a microSD slot and a battery sized somewhere between 2,700 mAh and 3,000 mAh. The handset will also reportedly include a high-end rear camera with a Cybershot CMOS sensor and a Carl Zeiss lens. GSMArena recently published press images that it claims reveal the Honami. The images, which are similar to earlier leaks and are believed to be authentic, confirm that the device will include on-screen navigation keys and a dedicated camera button. Sony is expected to announce the Honami smartphone at the IFA trade show in September. The leaked images follow below.
