After using’s Bryan Cranston’s voice to promote the iPad Air’s slimness in a TV ad that ran in the days following the tablet’s official announcement, the company has now turned to Robin Williams and his performance in the film “Dead Poets Society” for a brand new iPad Air commercial. Titled “Your Verse Anthem,” the 90-second commercial replays a Williams monologue from the movie while showing how iPad buyers use the device in all sorts of day-to-day activities.

The monologue ends with a question, “What will your verse be?,” which is what Apple is asking on a special web page set up on its website to share the stories of iPad users around the world. “Each of us has something to share. A voice, a passion, a perspective. The potential to add a stanza to the world’s story,” Apple writes. “We were so inspired by how people use iPad every day, we set out to capture a few of these moments.”

Over the years, Apple has released many memorable TV ads that help it promote and sell its devices. Only a few weeks ago, the company ran a highly praised iPhone ad built around the holidays.

Williams’ original monologue can be seen in the following clip.
