Now that the cat’s out of the bag – almost one in three Tinder users aren’t really single – you might be interested or forced to delete some of your online dating profiles. Or all of them. If that’s the case, then you could really use some help, especially since deleting a mobile app for one of these services isn’t sufficient to get the job done.

As Business Insider discovered, simply removing the Tinder app from your account will not delete your account. The online publication put together a comprehensive list of tips on how to remove your profiles for good from a variety of dating services.

The guide includes a variety of services that might help you find the one including Tinder, OkCupid, Hinge, Match.com, Coffee Meets Bagel, eHarmony and Grindr.

Deleting your profiles from these sites shouldn’t be a difficult time-consuming process, but some procedures are more complex than others. With some sites you can disable your account rather than deleting it, so you can reactivate it at a later date. Deleting your account is also possible, though in some cases you’ll have to email the company to have it done instead of being able to do with a click.

Also with some sites, you might want to also cancel your paid subscription in addition to deleting your account. Simply deleting your account isn’t enough to stop Tinder Plus from still taking your money for example.

The full guide, complete with step-by-step instructions for these dating services, is available at the source link.
