In Far Cry Primal, you’ll take on the role of a seasoned hunter named Takkar as he survives in a dangerous world where he is the prey. Throughout the game, you’ll grow your tribe, conquer the lands of Oros and become the most powerful predator in this take on the Stone Age world.
But the terrifying mammoths and saber-toothed tigers aren’t the only thing in your way — you’ll also come face to face with other tribes that want you dead. But as in other recent Far Cry games, you’ll be able to scout enemy outposts and coordinate a plan of attack using the weapons you’ve crafted from the bones of the fallen animals you’ve slain along the way.
After focusing on the present day for the entirety its existence thus far, it will be fascinating to see how the team pushes the franchise forward while throwing it millennia back in time.
Far Cry Primal will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 23rd, 2016.
