James Bond might be able to deal with villains around the world better than any of us, but when it comes to car trouble, he’s just a helpless customer, Colbert revealed in a “mind-blowing” scene from Spectre featuring Daniel Craig as 007.

Sure, most of the time 007 uses very expensive and very sophisticated cars so that he can exercise his license to kill. But very nasty things happen with those vehicles, which rarely survive the extreme scenarios he has to face – in that regard, his car troubles aren’t what you’d expect from a regular customer.
But Colbert’s video explains what happens when Bond is chased by villains while having to find a replacement car. Yes, Bond has to find the nearest car rental service, but his special talents as a secret agent are no good there. He simply has to go through the same rental hassles you go through yourself, including long wait times, unfriendly staff, and annoying paperwork. And yes, he’ll buy insurance, just in case he has to drive that rental car into a volcano.

And don’t forget, Spectre hits cinemas today around the world on Friday, so you’d better find some free time to see the latest movie in the James Bond saga.
