Seeing brand new movies might be a very different experience in the coming years if Napster founder Sean Parker has his way. Instead of going to the theater and grossly overpaying for soda and popcorn, you might be able to just stream them to your living room starting on release day. But even if that’s the case, we’re still going to need trailers to convince us a film is worth seeing.
A slew of new trailers came out this week and you can watch all the best ones below.

Ben-Hur
Ben-Hur
, you ask? Ben-Hur, we’ll answer. But not the old iconic movie you may have already seen. Instead, we’re looking at a remake starring Jack Houston, Nazanin Boniadi, Morgan Freeman and others. The movie opens on August 12th, so here’s a look at the first trailer.
Batman v. Superman
We’re not even going to talk about it anymore. We need to see this movie. Now.
Central Intelligence
Comedian Kevin Hart is back to make us laugh in a new action-packed comedy. Joining him is The Rock as a veteran CIA agent who used to be the fat kid in high school, and who needs help from the former popular kid. Central Intelligence has a great premise, especially given the global context when it comes to intelligence operations, and the trailer is certainly promising.
Criminal
We’re not done with the CIA just yet. Criminal, tells the story of a, well, criminal, whose brain is implanted with the memories of a dead CIA agent. Yes, it’s a good old spy movie but with an unexpected twist. Criminal opens April 15th and stars Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones, to name just a few. Yes indeed, quite a few heavy hitters in this one.
Crossing Point
What happens when you’re enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Baja when your girlfriend gets kidnapped by a local drug dealer? Nothing good, we presume. Crossing Point launches May 3rd starring Shawn Lock, Paulina Gaitan, Tom Sizemore, Jacob Vargas and Maria Gabriela de Faria.

High-Rise
We don’t know quite what to make of this one, but it’ll be hitting theaters soon enough (April 28th). High-rise is a sci-fi story about the residents of a tower block, with Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans and Elisabeth Moss. Check out the trailer below.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
Did anyone call for a creepy new Tim Burton movie? That’s exactly what you can expect from Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Come September 30th, we’re going to discover a mysterious world that promises plenty of thrills and danger. We’ve got Eva Green, Samuel L. Jackson, Kim Dickens and more in this one, so you’d better get ready for an awesomely dark Burton adventure.
Now You See Me 2
If you liked Now You See Me as much as I did, then you’ll be absolutely thrilled to know there’s a sequel in the works. In fact, the first trailer is already out. We’re looking at (almost) the same magicians from the first time around, including X, and they’re undoubtedly up for no good. Now You See Me 2 premieres on June 10th.
Sausage Party
If you’re looking for a food animation that’s an “R-rated Pixar-style movie” according to creator Seth Rogen, then Sausage Party is the flick for you. The movie is about all sorts of food items looking to be purchased and discovering life’s not as easy once that happens. Rogen voices frankfurter Frank and is joined by a stellar cast: Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Danny McBride, Paul Rudd, Edward Norton, Bill Hader, Salma Hayek, Michael Cera and others.

The Legend of Tarzan
In his own way, Tarzan is a superhero of sorts, and considering the increased number of superhero movies hitting theaters this year, it’s only fair to see a new Tarzan story come out as well. A second trailer for The Legend of Tarzan is also available, with the movie set to debut on July 1st. Oh, and there’s an incredible cast for this one, including Alexander Skarsgard, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L, Jackson, John Hurt and Djimon Hounsou, to name a few.
The Measure of a Man
Let’s check out a trailer for a movie that comes from outside the U.S. for a change. The Measure of a Man is a drama about a working-class French man struggling to make ends meet. The movie launches May 19th in France.
X-Men: Apocalypse
X-Men: Apocalypse
is, without a doubt, one of the most hotly anticipated superhero movies coming this year. The greatest challenge the X-Men have had to face is coming, the world’s first mutant, and the new trailer for the movie is a must-see.
