We’ve witnessed some massive trolling during the Super Bowl, and I’m not even talking about what happened in the game. A brand new trailer for John Wick: Chapter 2 was released on Sunday, mocking the one movie it’ll fight at the box office this week, Fifty Shades Darker. But it’s now time to take a look at some trolling at the expense of the original John Wick movie.
You’re probably familiar with the movie fanatics over at Screen Junkies, who come out with honest trailers on a regular basis. This week, they focused on John Wick, days before its sequel actually hits theaters.
The hilarious trailer tries to make fun of an action movie that was quite a hit with moviegoers. Then again, John Wick ends up killing quite a lot of people over a stolen car and dead dog. Not to mention the alternative universe these killer-for-hire people live in,
That said, Keanu Reeves delivered fast-paced action like never before in this movie, so we certainly have high hopes for Chapter 2. That’s even if other movie sequels Reeves played in didn’t necessarily impress.
