Nintendo’s NES Classic Edition console is one of the hottest gifts this Christmas seasons, and stores are having a hard time keeping up with demand. Earlier this week, Amazon announced that the NES Classic would be back in stock in select cities, and only Amazon Prime Now subscribers would be able to get one. However, Amazon isn’t the only retailer looking to sell the hot console, and Best Buy will soon have it in stock as well.
Before you get too excited, you should know that Best Buy is also expecting limited quantities of NES Classic consoles, so you’ll have to hurry to get one.
Best Buy told BGR that it will sell the console in stores on a “first-come, first served” basis, with sales set to begin again next Tuesday, December 20th. If you still haven’t had a chance to buy the NES Classic Edition for yourself or special someone, this will be one of your last chances to do it before Christmas.
The NES Classic isn’t the only hot product of the holiday season, so if you’re looking for more late tech deals, you should also know that Best Buy is going to host a Black Friday-like sales promotion starting December 15th and running through December 21st at 11:30 AM EST. In addition to discounted products including the iPhone 7, Best Buy will also offer buyers free two-day shipping on almost everything they purchase online.
So if you’re desperate to score an NES Classic Edition by Christmas, you may have to walk in a brick-and-mortar store next Tuesday and forget all about getting free-shipping on this one. Then again, you can also keep your eye on this page on Amazon, where you’ll find NES Classic Edition consoles coming and going constantly. In fact, there are several available on that page right now.
