Ordered an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus with a September 25th ship date on it? Anxious to see exactly where your precious new toy is? Well, there’s a way for you to do that, even if Apple hasn’t yet told you that your chosen iPhone 6s is en route to your door.

DON’T MISS: 85 legitimate iPhone apps that were infected with malware in the big App Store hack

Apple started shipping iPhone 6s orders on Saturday, MacRumors reports, and FlightAware has set up a page where you can track the flight that’s going to deliver your package.

To use it, you’ll have to have your UPS tracking number handy. “Once you’ve received your UPS tracking number from Apple you can use this handy map and list to figure out what flight is carrying your iPhone,” the company writes on its iPhone 6s flight page. “The ‘departure scan’ in your UPS track should match the departure time for a flight listed here. This page will be expanded once we learn more about Apple’s shipping strategy for this release.”

But what if you haven’t received a UPS tracking number yet? Luckily, there’s a way of hacking your way into that as well.

Tech blog GottaBeMobile has a neat trick you can use to determine your UPS tracking number, even if Apple hasn’t told you what it is. The catch, however, is that the trick only works if you ordered directly from Apple, as other carriers might ship your device through FedEx.

Here’s how you can get your iPhone 6s tracking number early: go to the Apple.com, log in and check your order status. Hit Show Order Details, check the phone number under Ships To and copy it exactly as it’s listed.

Now open the UPS Tracking page, click on Track by Reference, paste the phone number from the previous step into the Shipment Reference section, choose your Destination Country and enter a Destination Zip Code. Once you click Track, you should obtain the iPhone 6s tracking number on a UPS tracking page.

Even if you can “hack” your iPhone 6s shipping this way, this doesn’t mean your iPhone 6s will arrive any sooner than it’s supposed to – although some lucky iPhone buyers got their devices already.
