With Black Friday 2014 fast approaching, buyers looking to score some amazing Black Friday deals should already be preparing for the major sale event of the holiday shipping season in order to make sure they’ll actually be able to buy the discounted items they’re looking for. Over the past two weeks, most major retailers in the U.S. have already revealed details about pre-Black Friday events, Black Friday sales, and even Cyber Monday deals. To help make sense of all the madness, BGR has prepared a handy Black Friday “cheatsheet” to help you get ready for in-store doorbuster shopping.

You’ll find tons of information for Black Friday 2014 events already announced by a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Target, Walmart and many others, such as opening hours, special sales, store maps for Black Friday (if available) and links to the full ads Black Friday showing all items on sale (available for most retailers).

Amazon

  • Pre-Black Friday event: eight days of online Black Friday deals starting on November 21st.
  • Black Friday full ad: a full ad for Amazon’s offers isn’t available online, though the retailer has set up a special online page (available here) where it’ll be constantly adding special deals. Additionally, Amazon will offer users three Deals of the Day on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
  • Other discounts: Amazon Prime subscribers get access 30 minutes earlier to certain deals.

Best Buy

  • Pre-Black Friday event: from November 20th to November 22nd, offers limited tech deals.
  • Black Friday hours: 5:00 p.m. to 1.00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Sales start at 8:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
  • Black Friday full ad: Best Buy’s massive 47-page ad is available at this link.

BJ’s Wholesale

  • Pre-Black Friday event: from November 22nd to November 30th.
  • Black Friday full ad: BJ’s 14-page ad is available at this link.

Costco

  • Pre-Black Friday event: from November 21st to December 1st.
  • Black Friday hours: sales start at 9:00 a.m. on Black Friday and are valid from November 28th to November 30th.

Fry’s Electronics

  • Black Friday hours: online sales start at 5:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, in-store doorbusters take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, and from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Black Friday.
  • Black Friday full ad: Fry’s Electronics has not listed its Black Friday ad yet, but the retailer is revealing four items each day.

GameStop

  • Black Friday hours: over 4,000 GameStop locations open at 12:00 a.m. on Black Friday, with the rest of them opening at 5:00 a.m. Most deals are available through November 30th.

Groupon

Micro Center

  • Black Friday hours: Black Friday deals are available are available right now, with the retailer having 615 discounted items in all.
  • Black Friday full ad: Micro Center’s 54-page ad is available at this link.

Microsoft

  • Black Friday hours: sales start online on November 24th for certain items and on November 27th for others.

Monoprice

  • Pre-Black Friday event: up to 80% off in the pre-Black Friday weekend blowout on more than 200 products.
  • Black Friday full ad: the full ad is available at this link.
  • Other discounts: More discounts available every Monday and Friday before Black Friday.

Newegg

  • Black Friday hours: Newegg’s Black Friday sales are valid from November 27th (12:01 a.m. PST) to November 30th (11:59 p.m. PST).
  • Black Friday full ad: Newegg’s 97-item ad is available at this link.

RadioShack

  • Black Friday hours: sales take place from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Thanksgiving Day. A second round of sales start at 5:00 p.m. on the same day.
  • Black Friday full ad: RadioShack’s 5-page ad is available at this link.

Samsung

  • Black Friday hours: Samsung’s 167 discounted items are already available for pre-order online, and cards will not be charged until November 24th. Orders placed before November 22nd will be delivered in time for the holidays.

Staples

  • Black Friday hours: store hours are set for 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and stores reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
  • Black Friday full ad: RadioShack’s 5-page ad is available at this link.

Target

  • Pre-Black Friday event: Target will have a special pre Black Friday sales event on November 26th.
  • Black Friday hours: sales start at 6:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
  • Black Friday store maps: Target’s smartphone apps will offer users access to special store maps for Black Friday for iPhone (link here) and Android (link here).
  • Black Friday full ad: Target’s 39-page Black Friday ad is available at this link.
  • Other discounts: additional discounts are available between November 23rd and November 29th. REDcard holders will get a 5% discount on all their purchases.

Tiger Direct

  • Black Friday hours: doors open at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday, with doorbuster deals ending at 10:00 a.m. Special deals are available each hour on Friday, starting at 10:00 a.m. and running until 5:00 p.m.
  • Black Friday full ad: Tiger Direct’s 8-page ad is available at this link.

Verizon

  • Pre-Black Friday event: the Connection Day event, available on November 26th, offers plenty of special deals to Verizon subscribers.

Walmart

  • Pre-Black Friday event: Walmart has already kicked off a huge pre-Black Friday event (here are all the details).
  • Black Friday hours: Walmart’s Black Friday deals start online on the morning on Thanksgiving Day, with in-store events set to start at 6:00 p.m. on the same day. The second and third doorbuster rounds are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving and 6:00 a.m., respectively, and some stores will be open for 24 hours.
