A few days ago, MacRumors put together a quick video guide that tells you what camera settings to toy with and what features to apply to come up with better pictures, whether you’re in low-light or regular lightning conditions.

The video tells you how to best compose your shot, how to focus on the subject, how to make the most of the available light, and how to control exposure.

Features like HDR, zooming and flash are also briefly explained in the video. Basically, you should not zoom or use the flash in most cases (aside from the need of fighting something in complete darkness) and you should have HDR on auto, so that you can take great pictures even in lightning conditions that are far from ideal.
