Apple fans are still catching their breath following an action-packed WWDC 2016 keynote on Monday. Apple loaded the event with new announcements and features from start to finish, giving the world its first look at iOS, which Apple calls its biggest upgrade ever to the iOS platform. Some people seem to disagree with that statement but whether or not iOS 10 is indeed Apple’s biggest update ever, there’s no question that it’s packed full of new features that users are going to love once iOS 10 is released to the public this fall.

We’ve already gone over the 13 best new features coming to the iPhone and iPad in iOS 10 and we also told you about a fourteenth new feature that’s sure to be a fan favorite. But Apple could only squeeze so much into its WWDC 2016 keynote on Monday, and there’s plenty more that needs to be covered.

DON’T MISS: How to download and install the iOS 10 beta right now

In a post earlier this morning, we covered tons of new features listed on Apple’s developer site that the company didn’t have time to show off on stage during its big WWDC 2016 keynote. There were 91 new features in all covered in that post but believe it or not, there’s plenty more in iOS 10 that’s worth getting excited about.

New things will continue to pop up as people dive into the new iOS 10 beta — here’s how you can install it on your phone or tablet, if you want — but I’ve come up with a quick list of my five favorite new iOS 10 features that no one is really talking about yet.

Bedtime

There’s a new tab in the Clock app dedicated to helping improve your sleep and wake patterns. The feature runs through a quick setup and then it will remind you when you should go to bed and help you wake up easier.

Flashlight intensity

There’s no reason to wake up your partner (and the entire neighborhood) when it’s late and you need to find something in your bedroom. A firm press on the flashlight icon in Control Center now gives you the option to turn on your LED flash at low, medium or high intensity.

In-line video playback

The new in-line preview and playback features in Messages are terrific, but media playback functionality has been updated elsewhere as well. Now, you can play videos in Safari without having them automatically switch to full screen mode. It’s so annoying when you just want to watch a quick video but it takes over your screen and then you can’t go back until you tap the screen, wait for the controls to reappear, and then tap the Done button.

Camera ❤ Music

That’s right, opening the iPhone’s camera app no longer automatically pauses the Music app while it’s playing or streaming. Finally!

Dude where’s my car?

The iPhone is packed full of sensors so it knows when you’re driving and when you stop to begin walking. Now, Siri’s proactive features will automatically remember where you parked. This is bad news for hundreds of developers out there who have built apps designed solely for this purpose, but it’s great news for users.
