The most wonderful and terrible thing about Amazon and eBay is that they sell just about everything, including things you didn’t know existed and things that probably shouldn’t exist at all. But how can you find the strangest things on these two online retailing giants without having a specific idea of what you’re looking for?
As is usually the case with such things, your best resource is Reddit. More specifically, you should check out the two subreddits /r/WTFAmazon and /r/eBayWTF to find the absolute craziest and scariest things that are being sold online right now.
MUST SEE: Echo is our favorite Amazon product ever, and it’s on sale for one day only
So, what kinds of things can be found through these subreddits? Here are some prominent examples:
Does this title make any kind of logical sense at all? It looks like a toddler swallowed his magnetic poetry kit and then vomited it back up on a book cover. Regardless, The Jewish-Japanese Sex & Cook Book and How to Raise Wolves is a real book and can be found here on Amazon.
Then there’s this little beauty from eBay:
Yes, that’s a dedicated holder for your tablet that’s right over your bathtub. The glass of wine right next to it just completes the picture — after all, what could be better than using electronics in the bathtub while drinking alcohol? You can find the Bathtub Rack Bamboo Shelf Shower Tub Book Reading Tray Holder Stand Expandable at this link, but we are not responsible if you electrocute yourself thanks to knocking over your tablet in the tub.
You might not be able to identify our next object at first glance. In fact, I had no idea what it was the first time I looked at it:
In reality, this is the Neck Hair Guide, which is described on Amazon as “a template for shaving and keeping a clean and straight neck hairline.” If you’ve got a nasty neckbeard that needs a good trimming, you can buy this contraption from Amazon here.
Here’s an interesting little slash fiction book about Leonardo DiCaprio, although should I note that it actually spells his name incorrectly:
Leonardo Decaprico Finally Wins His Award And It Pounds Him In The Butt
is being sold for only $2.99 and can be found here on Amazon.
And speaking of products for people who have crushes on celebrities, what Nicholas Cage fan could go without owning this amazing pillow case?
The Custom Nicolas Cage Pillowcase can be found on Amazon at this link and it costs just $7.44.
At any rate, we’ve only touched the tip of the iceberg for bizarre Amazon and eBay items. There are plenty more strange finds that are definitely not safe for work at both /r/WTFAmazon and /r/eBayWTF.
