After leaking hardware details for Sony’s Xperia Z2 Tablet
, which may be unveiled soon at MWC 2014, @evleaks has provided an image of the unreleased tablet. In addition to the famed leaker’s image, more renders showing the tablet have been posted online by @gadgetleaks, who provided several other purported press pictures of the tablet.
The two sources have basically confirmed each other’s leak, with @gadgetleaks also revealing that Sony’s Xperia Z2 Tablet will apparently be available in both black and white. Furthermore, the source has offered images showing the thin profile of the tablet and hinting that the device will be waterproof.
According to a previous tweet from @evleaks, the Xperia Z2 Tablet will be even thinner than last year’s model – the new device is reportedly 6.4mm thick, compared to the original Xperia Tablet Z profile of 6.9mm. @gadgetleaks says the specs leaked the other day are accurate, adding that the new tablet will also be lighter than its predecessor, weighing 426g (Wi-Fi version) or 439g (LTE model), and measuring 266 x 172 x 6.4mm – the first-gen Xperia Z tablet weighs 495g.
Neither source mentioned actual release dates for the tablet. Images showing the Xperia Z2 Tablet follow below.
