There were few third-party games as anticipated as Star Wars Battlefront at E3 2015. I wasn’t as pleased with the reboot as I’d expected to be, but I only had a chance to play a single match on a single map. Battlefront only really thrives once you get a hang of the character classes and learn the maps backwards and forwards.

Unfortunately, we aren’t going to have that opportunity for another few months, but there are gamers out there who are currently participating in the closed alpha, and one of them decided to share some footage from the game.

In the first two videos, the leaker shows us a multiplayer match on Hoth — the same map I fought on at E3 this year. Both videos are from the perspective of the Rebel team:

In the final video, we get to see gameplay from the game’s Missions mode. The only mission in the alpha appears to be a Survival mission “where you take on increasingly difficult attacks from Imperial forces.” You can play alone or with a friend.

The amount of content you see in these videos is only a fraction of what will be present in the final game, but now you can get a better idea of what the game will look like outside of highly polished videos from the development team.
