Samsung has been rumored on a number of occasions to be developing a monstrous 12-inch tablet and a new report claims the device will launch sometime in October. The Korea Economic Daily on Monday reported that its anonymous industry sources say Samsung is currently prepping its largest-ever Android tablet, and that the device is currently slated to hit store shelves by the end of October. Details are scarce, though the report noted that Samsung’s 12-inch slate will feature an LCD display with better-than-HD resolution. An earlier report claimed that the tablet’s screen will measure 12.2 inches diagonally and it will launch as part of Samsung’s ever expanding Galaxy Note family.
