October will be a very busy month for Android fans who are looking forward to seeing Google release the final version of Android L alongside the release of the Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus 6 smartphone. Android Police’s founder Artem Russakovskii took to Google+ to post a rumor about the potential launch of various products, including the Nexus 9 and Android L, and he says that both devices could be publicly unveiled on October 15th.

“Next Wednesday, the 15th, should be a HUGE day,” Russakovskii said. “Here are the maybes that I’m expecting around then Nexus 9 (Volantis), Android L, Android Wear 2.0 [and] Android TV.”

He further added that the Nexus 6 should be unveiled in early November. Russakovskii also pointed out that he’s not “very confident” about this particular date, as things may always change, but that it was suggested October 15th is the “magical” date for these devices.

Android Police has provided many details about the HTC Nexus 9 in the past.

A different report from Focus Taiwan also suggests the Nexus 9 might be approaching its launch, as Jack Tong, president of HTC North Asia, confirmed for the publication that HTC is returning to the tablet business with the 8.9-inch Nexus device for Google.

The publication further added the tablet will be unveiled on October 16th, which appears to be in line with Russakovskii’s prediction.

Once the Nexus 9 is ready for public launch, Google will also release more details about the final Android L build.
