They say seeing is believing but anyone in the tech blogging game knows that simply isn’t the case. As such, we’re treading lightly with this one. Someone by the name of “Techno Minds” has bestowed modmyi.com with what he claims to be an image of two new MacBook Pros that was snagged from an Apple designer. Hmm. According to the images, the rumored integration of a “touchpad dock” is not present but the touchpad is indeed black as had been stated earlier. By the way, does anyone think that touchpad looks a bit short? Techno Minds also claims that the new model will have a new magnetic opening / closing system and that the top is glossy a la iPhone 3G while the bottom is aluminum. There was also a supposed ad mockup included with the image above that can be seen after the jump. As has been noted already, one of the more suspicious things about both the wild shot and the mockup is the clear lack of a power button. Either Apple has finally found a way to tap into users’ brains so we can turn the new MBP on and off by concentrating really hard, or this new round is probably just as fake as the last one. What do you think?
