Microsoft on Tuesday unveiled a brand new member of its Surface family, the bigger Surface Pro 3 device that’s supposed to replace the tablet and laptop combination that many people currently use. The company thoroughly explained the technology behind the Surface Pro 3 on stage, demoing various aspects related to design, special features, accessories and software.

The Surface Pro 3 will have various new accessories including a Surface Pro Type Cover, a Surface Pen (included with purchase), a Docking Station and a Surface Ethernet Adapter.
The Surface Pro 3 starts at $799, and can be pre-ordered from the company’s online store starting at 12:01 a.m EDT. Sales of a few configurations will also begin on Wednesday, but most models will go on sale beginning June 20th.
By the end of August, it will launch in 26 additional markets including Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
