LG in a few days will take the wraps off the LG G4, its 2015 flagship handset designed to fight against Samsung’s Galaxy S6 models and HTC’s One M9. The device is hardly a secret anymore, as not only has LG started to tease various features of the handset, but a consistent leak earlier this week revealed many details about the smartphone. While the leaks so far revealed the phone will indeed be one of the best handsets of the year, it’ll also disappoint certain fans, G for Games has found out.

The publication says the phone will not sport the same top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 that should be found on various flagships this year, including the HTC One M9. Instead, according to a leaked image posted on Twitter showing a benchmark for the LG G4, the smartphone will have a Snapdragon 808 CPU inside.
This isn’t the first time the G4 is rumored to pass on the Snapdragon 810 CPU, and LG’s decision may have something to do with Qualcomm’s overheating issues with its top mobile processor.
However, this new leak (see the picture below) is yet to be confirmed, as LG has not yet announce the official specs of its upcoming smartphone.
Obviously, in case you don’t care about specs and benchmarks, this particular G4 component will not bother you, assuming it’s accurate. But if you’re all about theoretical performance when choosing your next flagship device, then you’re probably looking for something a little more powerful.
