KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s latest research note contains a treasure trove of new information about upcoming Apple products, including a possible launch date for the next-generation iPad Air and final specifications for the iWatch. Another revelation flagged by 9to5Mac seemingly confirms yet another key iPhone 6 rumor that should make Apple fans very happy: Namely, they’ll have the option of buying an iPhone 6 with 128GB of internal storage.

In his note, Kuo claims that both the 4.7-inch and the 5.5-inch model will come with 128GB options, which is important because earlier rumors were unclear about whether the smaller version of the device would get the 128GB treatment.
On the downside, Kuo’s report also says that “due to drop test issues, neither 4.7-inch nor 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will have a sapphire cover lens,” which means that you might have to wait a bit before you get your hands on a sapphire-equipped iPhone 6.
The good news is that we now have less than a week until we learn about at least one version of Apple’s new iPhone during the company’s big media event on September 9th, where the company has also been tipped to unveil its first wearable computer and the second-generation iPad Air.
