Apple and China Mobile on Sunday announced the highly anticipated iPhone deal between two companies has been finalized. The Chinese carrier, with more than 760 million subscribers of which over 42 million are rumored to be iPhone owners even though China Mobile has never sold the device in its stores, will have both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in stores next year, with support for its 3G and growing 4G networks.

“Apple has enormous respect for China Mobile and we are excited to begin working together. China is an extremely important market for Apple and our partnership with China Mobile presents us the opportunity to bring iPhone to the customers of the world’s largest network,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said “iPhone customers in China are an enthusiastic and rapidly growing group, and we can’t think of a better way to welcome in the Chinese New Year than getting an iPhone into the hands of every China Mobile customer who wants one.”

The China Mobile multi-year agreement is a very deal for Apple, as it will certainly help the company increase its mobile presence in the country, not to mention profits. However, pricing details for the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c have not been announced even though the two devices will be available for pre-registration from China Mobile starting with December 25. The phones will then launch on January 17, 2014 on the “world’s largest 4G network.” By the end of 2014, China Mobile plans to install more than 500,000 4G base stations that will cover more than 340 cities in the region.
