On Monday we reported rumors of a smaller iPhone that is in the works according to The Wall Street Journal, so it only stands to reason that the rumor mill would soon cook up a larger iPhone as well. And wouldn’t you know it… Here we are on Tuesday, just one day later, and hit or miss industry watcher DigiTimes claims to have the inside scoop on the fifth-generation iPhone, which will allegedly feature a 4-inch display. The report cites component suppliers with this unconfirmed information and it’s not overly difficult to envision — especially if The Journal was right and Apple is indeed working on designs that will allow the iPhone’s screen to reach further toward the edges of the device. An iPhone 5 with a 15% larger screen but a case that’s only marginally bigger? We’ll take two, thanks.
