Following Apple’s big iPad event that just wrapped up, the company has just released the iOS 7.0.3 update for all users with compatible iPhone, iPad, iPad mini and iPod touch handhelds. The release follows BGR’s exclusive report, which revealed that Apple had seeded iOS 7.0.3 to employees and partners on Tuesday, October 1st and that a public release would come sometime later. The rollout follows Apple’s iOS 7.0.2 update from last month, and it adds iCloud keychain support to Apple’s mobile devices. It also removes all of the zooming transition animations that were making people sick (if you enable the option to reduce motion effects within iOS’s accessibility settings) and fixes several bugs.
iOS 7 was first launched to the public last month and after less than a week, the redesigned operating system had already been installed on more than 200 million devices. While iOS 7 is definitely more about renovation than innovation, we found it to be the perfect balance of new design details and familiar functionality in our iOS 7 review.
iOS 7.0.3 is available immediately as an over the air (OTA) update, and it can also be downloaded and installed using iTunes.
