The concept is interesting to say the least; a triple-flip 3G smartphone with a touchscreen, full QWERTY keypad and third function panel that can flip to face downward beneath the keypad and double as a gaming controller. Whether or not we’ll ever see it in production however, remains to be seen. A company by the name of The Medical Phone Ltd have begun showing off this unique contraption and claim that it is currently in production, though there was no working demo shown off at a recent expo it attended. As the company’s name might suggest, the handset began as a concept for a survival-based device that would pack a full first-aid guide and various other functionality. Of course this niche marketing would drastically limit the device so it has been fanned out a bit though it still has some interesting emergeny features such as a one-touch emergency button that phones 911, the closest hospital and your doctor simultaneously. It also actives the integrated GPS so you can be found, assuming whoever it contacts has some sort of device equipped to communication with the IcePhone. Spec highlights:
