After a long, cold winter, the warm weather couldn’t come soon enough this year, but its never truly summer anymore until PC games start going on sale. On Wednesday, GOG.com kicked off its DRM-Free Summer Sale, and as far as I’m concerned, June 3rd is now the official start of summer.

From today until June 21st, over 700 games will go on sale for up to 90% off their original price. New deals will appear every 12 hours, which means users will see over 100 offers a day for the next two and a half weeks. Some of the highlights today include:
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — $53.99 (10% off)
- Game of Thrones: Season 1 — $17.99 (40% off)
- Lichdom: Battlemage — $5.19 (87% off)
- Brutal Legend — $2.99 (80% off)
- Jade Empire — $2.99 (80% off)
There will be giveaways, surprises and daily bundles as well throughout the course of the sale. For example, GOG is currently offering a bundle of 7 LucasArts adventure games for $16.61, 66% off the price of buying all 7 games individually.
You can also earn rewards by spending money during the sale. If you spend at least $1.00, SimCity 2000 will be automatically added to your collection on GOG.com for free. Spending at least $20 will net you a copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and spending $50 will get you Xenonauts.
The GOG.com Summer Sale lasts from June 3 until June 21 at 7:59 AM EDT.
